Oceania Seating Symposium 2025 Recap

Allied Medical’s OSS Recap: Gone Fishing, Outdoors Inspiration, and Great Conversations

We had a fantastic time at the Oceania Seating Symposium 2025 and it was wonderful to connect with so many clinicians, suppliers, and sector partners over the two day event. Our Allied Medical team loved welcoming visitors to our Gone Fishing themed stand where we showcased a wide range of innovative mobility and rehabilitation solutions.

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was buzzing. We were inspired by the great outdoors of Aotearoa and brought a touch of it indoors with native greenery, fishing rods, chilly bins, and plenty of chocolate fish for visitors. This theme was inspired by the Quantum Rehab Outback 4x4, a product that captures the freedom and confidence that comes with exploring the outdoors.

Spotlight on the Quantum Rehab Outback 4x4

The Outback 4x4 quickly became a focal point at our stand. With its powerful performance and ability to tackle rugged terrain, the Outback offers users the chance to navigate environments where standard powerchairs struggle. It has become a popular choice for ACC clients who need a reliable option for farms, lifestyle blocks, or everyday outdoor adventures.

Our team enjoyed demonstrating how the Outback supports users to get out, enjoy nature, and experience more of what New Zealand has to offer. This aligned perfectly with our Gone Fishing theme and sparked plenty of engaging conversations with attendees.

A Stand Filled With Conversation and Hands On Demonstrations

Alongside the Outback 4x4, we displayed an exciting mix of products across seating, powered mobility, self-propelled wheelchairs, and paediatrics. Highlights included:

These products attracted strong interest, and our specialists enjoyed helping clinicians compare options and understand which solutions could best support the goals of their clients.

A Warm Thank You From Our Team

Our entire Allied Medical crew appreciated the opportunity to reconnect face to face with professionals from across the sector. Events like OSS are special for the way they bring together learning, innovation, and collaboration, and we valued every conversation at our stand.

If you were not able to attend OSS this year but would like to learn more about the products we featured, our team is always happy to help. You can book a time with your local Technical Product Specialist who can provide demonstrations, answer questions, and support clinical decision making.

Looking Ahead

We look forward to seeing you again soon and to continuing our work supporting mobility, comfort, and independence for people across Aotearoa.
