This virtual education session reviews patient selection and fitting of the SWASH Steady and SWASH Go for the management of sitting instability and/or scissoring gait. The session covers the following;
- How to identify suitable candidates for SWASH
- How to select the most appropriate product for individual patients
- How to measure and fit the SWASH products
- How to troubleshoot possible problems you may encounter with SWASH
- The psychological impact of improved posture and hip stability
This module is all about the TRU-Balance 4 seating system from Pride. It will explain what chairs it can go on, how it all works, and the differences between TB3 and TB4.
The session will include time for Q & A and we will send you a complete pdf of the module after the session.

This module contains a break down of the steps our Technicians take when setting up a clients powerchair. This covers all aspects of the set-up from the seat depth, armrest and foot plate heights, and controller placement.
The session will include time for Q & A and we will send you a complete pdf of the module after the session.

The Q-Logic 3 modules will be spread over multiple sessions and will cover programming for powerchairs with Q-Logic 3, customising powerchairs to help clients get the most out of their device, using the ECON Eco System and troubleshooting as well as providing an in-depth product overview. This is a follow on from Module 1 and you need to have attended or viewed the first module prior to attending this module. We will be building on what was covered in the first module, looking at more advanced programming options.

The Q-Logic 3 modules will be spread over multiple sessions and will cover programming for powerchairs with Q-Logic 3, customising powerchairs to help clients get the most out of their device, using the ECON Eco System and troubleshooting as well as providing an in-depth product overview. This first session will focus on basic programming and how to utilise standard functions.

This session will offer a complete overview of Interactive Assist, the diagnostic app from Quantum Rehab that provides a direct, real-time connection from a powerchair’s electronics to a provider’s programming station. The session will cover what can be resolved remotely, how to use the app on both android and iPhones and connecting through ECON-W.

This module follows on from the earlier Alternative Drive Controls Module 1. This module includes how to set up switch driving to allow clients another way to drive when other options are no longer suitable.

This module focuses on setting up the i-drive Head Array and takes you through the various steps involved in setting this up on a powerchair equipped with Q-Logic 3. You will learn how to install i-drive, to connect i-Drive to Q-Logic 3, how to adjust the settings in Q-Logic 3 using Econ-W and how to make fine adjustments to the head array to suit the client’s needs.

We are excited to be exhibiting at Show Your Ability Dunedin, one of New Zealand’s leading disability and older person’s equipment expos. The event will run from 9am to 1pm at Edgar Stadium, located at 116 Portsmouth Drive, Dunedin.
Show Your Ability is a well established assistive technology expo, bringing together more than 50 experienced equipment suppliers, disability support services and information providers from across New Zealand. The event provides a valuable opportunity for people with disabilities, their whānau and health professionals to explore a wide range of mobility equipment, rehabilitation products, daily living aids and other assistive technology available throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
This FREE event also includes a high quality seminar programme, designed to support professional development and knowledge sharing. The seminars attract Allied Health professionals and key influencers from the disability sector, government and private organisations, making it a must attend event for anyone involved in disability and aged care support.
This session provides a practical overview of wheelchair and powerchair seating, with a focus on positioning, pressure care, and comfort to support optimal outcomes for wheelchair users.
The session will cover key features, clinical considerations, and practical application of cushions, helping technicians confidently recommend and support appropriate seating solutions for both manual wheelchairs and powerchairs.
